There are nearly 200 species of hoya sometimes known as wax flowers. Originally from the tropical Asia, these woody stemmed vineshave delicate porcelain-like flowers and lustrous evergreen foliage.
A bizarre plant but one of our all time favorite Hoyas. Hoya carnosa 'Compacta', also known as The Hindu Rope plant, has twisted, waxy leaves that emerge on long rope-like vines, making this Hoya perfect as a hanging plant.
This cultivar of Hoya carnosa will hopefully produce beautiful clusters of star-shaped pink flowers.
This plant prefer bright filtered sunlight but should not be placed in direct sunlight.
Water moderately, allowing the top 3cm to dry out between waterings.
